What is a banner in Genshin Impact

A banner in Genshin Impact is the wish (gacha) system to get characters and weapons. Each version has temporary banners with featured characters, and you spend Primogems to pull.

How it works

• Character banner: featured 5-star + rotating 4-stars. Pity guarantee of 90 wishes.
• Weapon banner: 5-star weapons with 80-wish pity and an epitomized path system.
• Pity: the 5-star guarantee carries over between banners of the same type (it is not lost when the banner changes).
• 50/50: on the character banner, if you get a 5-star there is a 50% chance it is the featured one. If not, the next one is guaranteed.

Current banners

Version 7.0 Phase 2 is active until September 22, and 7.1 brings the Vesna and Vodyanitsa banners: 7.1 banner dates.
